WHAT IS PERFORMANCE COACHING
Performance coaching is learning how to think and behave to perform your best. If you are serious about improving your game or career performance then mastering the mental side is crucial. The difference between success and failure comes down to the way you respond to pressure . My Performance Coaching Programme is based on sports psychology and other relevant psychological training methods including neuro linguistic programming and cognitive behavioural therapy.
the problems I SOLVE
Lack of confidence and self belief, feeling overwhelmed, stressed, not coping under pressure are the most common areas that my clients want to improve on. In their own words.....
The before...
“When things go badly I go into melt-down” and "when I make a mistake I know I am on a downward spiral"
“I can't perform because I am in a panic before and during the competition and just can’t focus on the game”.
“I can’t play my best as I am too frightened of losing”
“When I am doing brilliantly I get too excited about winning and my game falls apart. “
The after ...
These are the reults in my clients' own words
“I am the anchor in the team to take the pressure shots because the coaches have seen how mentally strong I am under pressure now”
“I have achieved my dream of being selected for the British team”
“I am playing consistently better than ever before : I just cant believe the improvement ”
“I have learned to play ‘in the moment’ so the expectation of winning is no longer a pressure.
The amazing thing is that all of the above results were achieved in under six months, some as little as six weeks.

HANDOUTS AND SPORTS PERFORMANCE MANUAL ( THE MENTAL TOOL-KIT)
You will receive your own sports psychology hand-out for every session. These will remind you what was covered in the coaching session and help to reinforce the new ways of thinking and the techniques you will be learning.
At the end of your coaching you will receive a manual which is prepared especially for you called your Mental Tool Kit. This is your manual for independent mental strength which is great for reinforcement and as a reference point. My client's love them and some even take them to competitions for the symbolic security they offer.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE
The million dollar question. Many people notice a huge improvement after as little as two or three sessions. Yes really. As one client said
After a couple of sessions, I saw a change in my attitude and the way I was thinking about everything "
This isn't to say that it will only take two sessions but that change appears quickly. It is hard to be precise but I would say a minimum of 6 sessions and a maximum of 20 depending on how much depth you want to go into and the time and commitment you want to spend. It is preferable to have the sessions regularly between 7 to 14 days apart.
CHANGE FOR LIFE
The important point about my coaching is that I teach you to be independent because you can apply your newly learned mental skills to all future challenges. These are also fantastic skills to have for other areas of your life where you need to perform eg work presentations, exams, starting a new job, performing arts or any stressful situation.
